Terms and conditions of use

The purchase of goods through the ORAVA eshop can be carried out by natural and legal persons without restrictions, provided that they follow these Terms and Conditions, hereinafter referred to as the customer.

The seller / operator of the e-shop www.orava.eu is the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. with headquarters in Bratislava.

Ordering procedure

The customer can use the ORAVA eshop system to order any product with the CART button (icon).

After ordering the goods (by entering the number of pieces in the free field) and pressing the CART button/icon, the ordered goods are automatically added to the shopping basket, which is available for preview at any time. Creating an order is conditional on registration in the ORAVA eshop system. During registration, the customer is obliged to fill in the personal data required by the ORAVA eshop system. These data will be used for the internal use of the ORAVA eshop system and the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. guarantees that they will not be misused for other purposes. After registration, each customer will be assigned an account, which will be used for purchases in the ORAVA eshop system. Orders will be created for each customer under this account. We recommend that the customer write down the login data (including the code allocated by the ORAVA eshop system) and keep it in case of future purchases. For each subsequent purchase, just log in using your login details.

After creating the order, it will be registered in the ORAVA eshop system. The ORAVA eshop system will confirm the registration of the order with a notification of order acceptance. The moment the order acceptance notification is displayed, the order is considered delivered and at this moment a purchase contract is created between the customer and the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. and both parties have rights and obligations arising from the applicable regulations and the Complaints Procedure for customers of ORAVA distribution, a.s.

The ORAVA eshop system enables customers to access information about the status of their orders (registration, receipt, payment, shipping...) after authorization with their login data.

An order made through this e-shop can be canceled within 12 hours from the moment of its creation. If the customer does not cancel the order within the specified time, it becomes binding for the seller and the buyer.

Terms of payment

All prices of goods are listed including 20% VAT.

If the order amount is less than EUR 60, the goods will be transported by courier at the customer's expense of EUR 5.50. If the amount of the order is at least 60.01, the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. delivers the goods to the customer by courier at its own expense (as part of delivery throughout the Slovak Republic). Cash on delivery is included in the price of EUR 1.00.

The period during which the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. bound by the offer of goods including the price

In case of correct functionality of the ORAVA e-shop system, the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. bound by the offer of goods including its price from the order.

Delivery conditions and costs for delivery of goods

The company ORAVA distribution, a.s. undertakes to deliver the ordered goods to the customer no later than 4 working days after dispatch from our warehouse. The company ORAVA distribution, a.s. undertakes to deliver the goods to the customer at the address specified by the customer in the ORAVA eshop system as the place of delivery. If the order amount is less than EUR 60, the goods will be transported by courier at the customer's expense of EUR 5.50. If the amount of the order is at least EUR 60, the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. delivers the goods to the customer at its own expense (as part of delivery throughout the Slovak Republic). However, if the customer repeatedly does not collect the shipment due to absence or a reason about which the company ORAVA distribution, a.s. did not inform in advance, his right to free delivery of the goods expires.

In the case of delivery of larger and heavier goods by the courier service, the latter is not obliged to deliver the goods directly to the apartment. For this reason, the customer should count on ensuring the delivery of the goods directly to the apartment by himself. The company ORAVA distribution, a.s. will not accept claims for non-delivery of goods by courier service.

If the customer is interested in the service - ecological disposal of the old appliance - it is necessary to state this in the note when ordering the goods. The company ORAVA distribution, a.s. will arrange the delivery of goods from the customer by courier - however, importation is a paid service according to the standard price list of the UPS courier service (https://www.sps-sro.sk). It is also possible to arrange a personal delivery of the old appliance at any ORAVA distribution, a.s. branded store.

Invoices and documents

The invoice and all documents are sent electronically via e-mail. Communication with customers takes place primarily via e-mail, or telephone conversation. In the event that we do not have a part of the ordered goods in stock, we inform the customer about this fact and the possible procedures for fulfilling such an order.Complaint conditions

The customer must visually inspect the goods immediately upon and after receipt. He has the right not to accept the goods if there is visible mechanical damage on them, obviously caused by transport, or if the goods are incomplete. In such a case, he is obliged to write a damage report with the driver or refuse to accept the shipment. Mechanical damage to the product in intact packaging must be reported immediately after receiving the shipment. Later complaints of this nature will not be accepted with regard to the carrier's complaint conditions.

In the event of a complaint, the usual complaint procedure specified in the Complaints Rules for customers of ORAVA distribution, a.s. applies. The customer can make a complaint in any ORAVA store, or directly at the Central Service Center (address as well as phone numbers are given in the warranty card, which was delivered together with the goods.When exercising the right to repair, the customer must bring the claimed goods, including a copy of the delivery note and invoice (or another form of tax document) and a warranty certificate.

In the event that the claimed defect was caused by the customer - damage to the product, inappropriate use or inappropriate handling, the customer is obliged to reimburse the seller for all costs associated with handling the complaint. The company ORAVA distribution, a.s. is not responsible for defects caused by mechanical damage to the product, operating the product in unsuitable conditions (chemically aggressive, dusty, humid environment, in a strong magnetic field...), intervention in the product by someone other than an authorized person (authorized service), or which were caused natural disaster or incorrect supply voltage.

Instruction on the customer's right to withdraw from the contract

The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the day of receiving the goods.

The customer exercises his right to withdraw from the contract in writing or by e-mail at sales@orava.eu or in another way that does not raise doubts that the contract has been withdrawn. If the customer exercises his right to withdraw from the contract, he returns the goods to ORAVA distribution, a.s. in a manner agreed in advance with the company ORAVA distribution, a.s., no later than 14 days from the day on which he exercised his right to withdraw from the contract. The goods must not show signs of use and must be in the original undamaged packaging with complete accessories. If the goods fully met the declared quality requirements and were not defective, the customer will return the goods at his own expense. After receiving the returned goods within 15 days, we will return the amount paid to the customer according to the method you specified.
