Preparation time: 5 minutes dough, 5 minutes baking

Number of servings: 6

To prepare waffles, use our handy waffle maker Orava W-01, with which you can conjure heart-shaped waffles for your loved ones. It prepares up to 5 waffles at once, and thanks to baking plates with a special surface treatment, the waffles will not stick or burn. The heat-insulated handle of the waffle iron will ensure that you do not burn yourself even when baking this sweet treat for a large family or your children's friends. You will appreciate it when preparing breakfast, dessert after a hearty lunch, but also at a children's party or garden party.

You will need: 130 g of plain flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar, 2 eggs (size M), 180 ml of whole milk, 50 g of butter, a pinch of salt

How to do it:

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar and vanilla in a bowl.

  2. Mix the milk, eggs and melted butter in the second bowl.

  3. Make a hole in the centre of the loose ingredients, pour the egg mixture into it and mix the thinner dough.

  4. Coat the waffle maker with a little oil and let it heat up.

  5. Using a ladle, pour the batter into the hot waffle iron, but not up to the edge so that it does not leak. Close the waffle maker and bake the waffles until crispy and golden.

  6. You can taste and serve them smeared with your favourite jam or jam, poured with melted butter, maple syrup or sprinkled with powdered sugar. Decorate them with fruit - strawberries, raspberries, currants, blueberries or blackberries and don't forget a generous portion of whipped cream.
